Our Lady’s Welcome Committee is dedicated to welcoming new parishioners to the parish family and sharing information about the parish history and current events. If you would like to get more involved with the parish, this is a great place to start! Committee members signup to man the Welcome Table on the 2nd Sunday of each month in the Gather Space and at Coffee & Donuts in the gym. Duties include registering new parishioners, sharing information about the parish, and helping people feel welcome.
DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, we are encouraging healthy parishioners to be greeters to hold open the doors before Masses to minimize the number of people touching the door surfaces. Please consider ministering in this fashion. Please wear your own gloves and or masks, if you desire.
Greeters: Hey, have you noticed the smiling, friendly people holding the doors open before Mass? We’d love to have you share your friendly smile, too! Consider being a Greeter for 20 minutes before Mass. You can be a part of assisting fellow parishioners entering the church. Let’s help everyone feel welcome. Sign up in the Gather Space, at Coffee & Donuts or online.
Volunteer for 20 minutes before Mass to open doors and greet people as they enter, helping all to feel welcome in our parish. You can signup HERE or in the Gather Space. Just arrive 20 minutes before Mass and open exterior doors for people, perhaps share an umbrella with someone needing assistance getting inside in inclement weather, and greet visitors as well as fellow parishioners as they enter. (“Greeter” is a side-ministry of the Welcome Committee.)
